Performance Requests:

Do you have an event where you would like the Pump Girls to appear?

We are happy to consider all requests for appearances.  We do try to keep school absences to a minimum.  The girls all live in Southern California. We don't charge a performance fee, but we do not currently have external funding, so we ask that you cover our actual expenses; travel, lodging, and sound equipment.  The 'travel party' is the three girls and two or three  parent / chaperones.  We have seen sucess in local organizations getting underwriting from pharmaceutical and pump companies.  The other cost involved is the sound system needed for the girls to perform their act- the price for this varies from city to city, check around to see what the going rate is in your area.  We developed the following equipment and environment requirements based on safety and the minimums that the girls need in order to perform - their act is built around this configuration.

• 3 cordless hand held mics
• 3 circular base mic stands (not the tripod base kind)
• 2 feedback monitors
• sound system (speakers, amp mixer and EQ)
• CD player that connects to the sound system
• audio engineer to work the sound system during the sound check and during the show
• stage should be  20' in length by 15' in width

Yes, we would be happy to accept your (tax-deductable through the PADRE Foundation) donations!  The girls do not charge appearance fees, and have received very little revenue from CD sales (not enough to cover gas!).  This is not a money-making or for-profit venture.  The girls volunteer their time for weekly practices and performance trips. We need help paying for vocal coaches, choreographer help, costumes and other misc. expences.  If you have any questions, please contact the manager.  Thanks!
